BSI April 2019 BLIND SAILING UPDATE
2019 Blind Fleet Racing World Championships,

We are pleased to inform BSI members and blind sailors worldwide that the Notice of Race and supporting information for the 2019 Blind Fleet Racing World Championships, hosted by Kingston Yacht Club, Kingston, Ontario, is now available on their web site https://kingstonyachtclub.com/blindsailingworlds2019/
The event dates are 1st to 8th September 2019. The event will be sailed in the Shark 24s on Lake Ontario. The racing format of three classes (B1, B2, and B3) and boat crews of four sailors–two visually impaired, two sighted–will be the same format as our previous world championships and the 2017 World Championship.
BSI looks forward to working with Kingston Yacht Club, World Sailing and Blind Sailing Canada.
We are really pleased to have been offered for our 2019 World Championships such a excellent sailing location, with friendly and well-managed onshore facilities.

Kingston Yacht Club is keen to support as many visually impaired competitors on the water as possible. Please contact us if you require support sourcing sighted tactitian or crew or if you are a V.I. sailor looking to join a team. The Kingston sailing community is determined to make this a great event including offering the support and skills of its excellent experienced sailors.
